Roads

A popular legend relates that, "a day, a cow had to cross a virgin forest to return to its pasture. As it is an irrational animal, opened a full, difficult, sinuous path of curves, rising and descending hills.

The next day, a dog that walked for there used that same path to cross the forest. Then a sheep that guided a flock, seeing the already open space, did its companions to continue for the path.

Later, the men began to use the road. They turned right and to the left, they descended, they rose, they deviated of obstacles, being complained and cursing with every reason.

After so much use, the path became an extensive road where the poor animals were tired carrying heavy loads, obliged to travel through in three hours a distance that could be done in thirty minutes.

The years spent and the road became the avenue main of a city. All they complained of the traffic, because the journey was the worst possible one

. In the meantime, the old and wise forest laugh upon seeing that the men tend to continue, as blind, roads that already are open; without thinking, without being asked, if that is the best election.

" ¿What road we are traveling? Where do we go? Is this the best road? Is this our road? There are better roads to arrive at destiny?

The Bible says: "Some wandered in desert wastelands, finding no way to a city where they could settle. They were hungry and thirsty, and their lives ebbed away. Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. He led them by a straight way to a city where they could settle.

Let them give thanks to the LORD for this unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men!" (5) Psalms 107:4-8

“A man`s own folly ruins his life, yet hit heart rages against the LORD.” (6) Proverbs 19:3

"Jesús said: You know the way to the place where I am going." (7) John 14:4
